Background:
Born 1893 in Alnwick, son of Robert and Dorothy Wilson. 1901 age 7 living at Whittingham Lane with parents Robert 38, Rural Postman, Dorothy 38 and siblings Ethel 6, Edmond 5, Alice 1 and Ruth 3 months. In 1911 age 17 working as an assistant on farm and living at Whittingham Lane with parents Robert 48, Farmer, Dorothy 46 and siblings Ethel 16, Dressmaker Apprentice, Ernest 14, Grocer Apprentice, Alice 11 and Ruth 10.
