Town Walk led by Adrian Ions - Saturday 11th February, 10.00am

 

Discover Alnwick through the eyes of Adrian Ions, well-known local historian and a great storyteller! The town walk will be starting at Bailiffgate Museum.

 

There will be coffee and biscuits available in the museum following the walk. Numbers will be limited to 12 people, so it will be essential to book a place. Tickets are £2.50 per person.

 

 

Professor Middlemas lecture - As They Really Were-Tuesday 13th March, 12.00 - 1.30pm

 

Professor Middlemas, a native of Alnwick, will talk about a collection of fascinating and unique drawings of  Alnwick folk from the 19th century, featuring in his new book "As They Really Were - the Citizens of Alnwick 1831". Free entry. Refreshments provided (donations welcome).

 

 

Rag Rugging workshop - Saturday 31st March, 10.00 - 4.00pm

 

Two expert local textile artists, Jane Jackson and Margaret Kenny, are sharing their skills in the traditional craft, rag rugging.
